Walking back to Grim’s cottage is less stressful today than it had been the day before. Knowing I have a job to do, I get right to it. I don’t see the point in waiting for Grim to make his appearance. I walk into the same study that I was in on the previous day, but this time, Grim’s chair is empty.

Making my way to the desk, I see a stack of folders with a note on top where there was a stack of books the other day.

Here are all the assignments from the past few months.

I let out a long breath, grabbing the huge stack of folders off the desk. I spot an empty box against the wall. I cross the room and drop all the folders inside. If I have to work on this, then I will do it in the comfort of my own room. No one else ever goes in there anyway, so they should be safe. Looking around to make sure I have everything, I leave the cottage and walk back into my room. I toss everything on my bed before flopping down myself.

“Why can’t Grim have everything on a flash drive like the modern ages?” I mutter, picking up the top folder and flipping it open. Anna Allister, the name reads in bold letters at the top.

This is going to take some time.
